Renovation of Edouard-Herriot Hospital

Health
As part of the extensive modernization program for Édouard-Herriot Hospital, the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) selected the Mezzoteam platform to manage the renovation of units T1 and T2 in Pavilion T.
Founded over 200 years ago, the Hospices Civils de Lyon is now the second-largest university hospital center in France. Since 2013, the institution has been carrying out an ambitious transformation plan aimed at modernizing its infrastructure while maintaining excellence in patient care, particularly in recognized specialties such as geriatrics, aging medicine, and the treatment of severe burns.
The Pavilion T renovation project aimed to create an environment suitable for a new geriatric department, meeting the technical, functional, and organizational requirements of a leading hospital facility.
To coordinate the many stakeholders involved and centralize all communications, documents, and approval processes, the project teams relied on Mezzoteam throughout the operation.
Thanks to this Construction Project Management platform, project stakeholders benefited from a single workspace that promoted information traceability, streamlined communication, and tracking of the various construction phases through to delivery.
This achievement is part of the Hospices Civils de Lyon's modernization drive and illustrates the value of effective collaborative management for large-scale hospital renovation projects.
