Reconstruction of the La Verrière hospital facility

Health
Spie Batignolles Île-de-France selected the Mezzoteam platform to support the reconstruction of the MGEN Institute in La Verrière, a major hospital project in the Yvelines region that is now fully operational.
Representing an investment of over €100 million, this project has profoundly transformed the two historic facilities that make up the MGEN Institute of La Verrière: the Marcel Rivière psychiatric institute and the Denis Forestier geriatric center. Built in the late 1950s, these buildings dedicated to mental health and elderly care no longer met modern standards for healthcare, comfort, and infrastructure performance.
Led by the consortium of Spie Batignolles IDF / AIA / Bérim / S.A.M.O.E / Orfea Acoustique, with support from the A2MO firm, this extensive reconstruction program resulted in the creation of a modern facility designed to provide a more efficient care environment, better suited to the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals.
Today, the new MGEN Institute of La Verrière includes a building dedicated to adult and adolescent psychiatry, a nursing home (EHPAD) featuring specialized Alzheimer's units, and a medical care and rehabilitation center. Designed as a true living space, the site also features dining areas open to staff, patients, and their families, as well as additional amenities such as a gymnasium, a balneotherapy area, and a 300-space parking lot.
The implementation of Mezzoteam effectively supported the coordination of the many stakeholders involved in this complex project by facilitating document management, information sharing, and collaborative project tracking throughout its execution.
