Line 14 South Extension

Transport and Infrastructure
The southern extension of Line 14 is one of the major projects of the Grand Paris initiative. Commissioned in June 2024, it now connects Paris-Orly Airport to Saint-Denis Pleyel, making Line 14 the longest and busiest line in the metro network, with nearly 820,000 daily passengers.
The 14 km southern section serves eight new stations and significantly improves travel between Paris, Val-de-Marne, and Essonne. It provides a direct link to Paris-Orly Airport while strengthening connections with the metro, RER, tramway, and, progressively, the Grand Paris Express lines. This extension alone now handles nearly 190,000 passengers per day, while serving strategic hubs such as the Rungis International Market, the Gustave Roussy Institute, and several major university campuses.
The completion of this infrastructure required exceptional technical resources, including the excavation of several kilometers of tunnels using state-of-the-art tunnel boring machines, within a particularly dense urban environment and under strict operational constraints.
Throughout the project, Mezzoteam made it possible to centralize documents, secure exchanges, and streamline collaboration between all stakeholders. By providing a single common data environment, the platform facilitated document management for a project of exceptional scale.
