Construction of a new superyacht reception facility

Industry and Energy
To strengthen its position as a leading European hub for large yacht refitting, La Ciotat Shipyards successfully completed the Atlas platform, a strategic infrastructure designed to increase its capacity to accommodate yachts ranging from 80 to 105 metres.
Delivered after more than two years of construction, this 40,000 m² platform is now a major facility at the Port of La Ciotat, the only site in France capable of regularly accommodating refit operations for very large yachts.
Built by VINCI Construction Maritime et Fluvial, the project involved extensive earthworks, civil engineering and port development works, including the diversion of the Bucelle canal and the integration of a next-generation boat lift developed by the Matière/Bardex consortium.
Thanks to this infrastructure, La Ciotat Shipyards now has a high-performance industrial facility capable of meeting the technical, environmental and logistical requirements of the leading players in the yachting industry.
