Work to convert Nantes’ former courthouse into a four-star international hotel began at the start of summer 2010. ALTAREA COGEDIM were the property developers on this project, delivering the hotel to Radisson BLU, which will be responsible for running the hotel.
By the end of 2012, work was completed on a 142-room facility (including 20 suites), with a cultural space, restaurant and spa-fitness area, with the courthouse building completely renovated.
The conversion of the courthouse was the first hotel renovation to secure the French HQE environmental certification for commercial buildings.
The project was managed using Prosys’ collaborative working solution, Mezzoteam.
