Mezzoteam Version 6.3: What’s new?
06 June 2024 — Solution
Version 6.3 has been available since 30 May. Discover the main new features of Mezzoteam, including tools to speed up the implementation of new workspaces and improvements to observations.
This new version puts administrators in the spotlight!
The role of the administrator is essential to the success of the project. The administrator creates the link between the Mezzoteam teams and the users of the solution. A wide range of tools are available to help them maintain the workspace settings and assist users.
With version 6.3, we’re delivering improvements requested by our customers to make their day-to-day work easier.
All these new tools will make the work of administrators easier, both on projects and in the context of enterprise deployment. The export/import capabilities will enable forms and workflows to be aggregated into truly modular applications for projects.
Improved observation management
Version 6.3 brings many improvements to the Observations Management module released in version 6.2. We owe these improvements to our users, who have provided us with feedback from the field.
For example, it is now possible to:
- Sort observations in forms using a drop-down list.
- Select several observations in just a few clicks.
- Use tooltips in lists of observations or comments.
- Send notifications when an observation is @mentioned, resolved, closed or cancelled.
- Import changes to observations.
We’re continuing to work on the Observations Management module, to make it an increasingly essential feature of collaborative project management.
IFC 4X3 now on Mezzoteam
In 2024, BuildingSmart made official the IFC 4X3 ADD2 schema for infrastructure works. Our many projects in this field have been waiting impatiently for Mezzoteam to integrate it, and this has now been done with version 6.3.
A new Spatial Structure property allows the spatial organisation of the model to be represented in the form of a concatenated tree structure.
This can be broken down into elements, such as road segments and intersections, or into altimetry, for a model of an engineering structure, or into sections for a model of a railway line.
