The Clermont-Ferrand SMTC (urban area public transport authority) chose Prosys’ collaborative working solutions in February 2003 for the implementation of the city’s first tramway line. With 14 kilometres of track, 31 stations and a budget of 290 million Euros, the tramway was a major investment. The SMTC remained loyal to Prosys when it chose to use the company’s collaborative working solution, Mezzoteam, for the extension of the line.
"The main advantage of setting up an electronic document management system for running the tramway lies in simplifying the procedures involved in sharing, checking and approving the required documentation. We chose Prosys' solution particularly as the architecture of the system fully matches the requirements we stated."

Tramway Project Manager, SMTC
