The Mezzoteam solution was chosen for the construction of Michelin’s global technological innovation centre. The new centre, called “Campus RDI”, is the largest building in Auvergne with 1,600 people working on site. This building, which uses little energy and is highly efficient, also provides Michelin’s engineers and technicians with optimum working conditions.
After completion of the work, Michelin’s dedicated global research facility was comprehensively modernised. It now welcomes the 3,300 people that make up Michelin’s R&D teams in France, working in over 350 professions, connecting them with the research teams that are located in the other continents.
The Michelin Group officially opened the new buildings at the Centre RDI (Research, Development and Industrialisation) in September 2016, in front of the then French Prime Minister Manuel Valls and 1,800 guests.
