Construction of 3 APS tram lines

Transport and Infrastructure
The Bordeaux tramway is a major benchmark for the revival of tram systems in France. With the phased launch of its first three lines (A, B, and C) between 2003 and 2004, this project profoundly transformed mobility in the metropolitan area while supporting its urban redevelopment.
One of its most notable innovations is the choice of a ground-level power supply system (APS), a world first for a modern tram network. This technology helped preserve the architectural heritage of the historic city center by eliminating overhead contact lines, while meeting the requirements of a particularly ambitious infrastructure project.
For this operation, SYSTRA, as lead of the project management consortium, relied on Mezzoteam to centralize documents, streamline approval workflows, and facilitate collaboration among the project's numerous stakeholders. The platform helped secure information exchange throughout the design and construction phases.
"We chose Mezzoteam for the Bordeaux tramway project. We particularly appreciated the user interface and the fluidity of the approval workflows."
