Widening and upgrading a section of the RN 79 to motorway standards

Transport and Infrastructure
The project to transform the RN 79 into the A79, a major link in the Centre-Europe Atlantique Route (RCEA), marked a key milestone in the modernization of French road infrastructure. Carried out between Sazeret (Allier) and Digoin (Saône-et-Loire), this operation involved upgrading 90 km of road to motorway standards, now operated as a 2x2 lane toll motorway.
Used by over 15,000 vehicles every day, this strategic route was a top priority for improving safety and traffic flow. Given the scale of the work and the number of stakeholders involved, Eiffage Génie Civil chose Mezzoteam to centralize communications, facilitate document management, and ensure effective collaborative project management throughout the construction period.
