Construction of 2 single-track tunnels

Transport and Infrastructure
Delivered in 2019, the Cityringen project—a major new infrastructure addition to the Copenhagen Metro in Denmark—relied on the Mezzoteam platform to structure communications and secure document management throughout its construction.
Carried out between 2011 and 2018, this large-scale project brought together numerous stakeholders to build a fully automated underground network. The project notably included the excavation of two parallel 15.5 km tunnels, as well as the construction of a branch line to the new maintenance and control center.
With its 15 km of track, 17 stations, and a capacity of nearly 240,000 passengers per day, Cityringen is now a key element of the Danish capital's transport network. Comprising lines M3 and M4, it connects to the existing metro, notably at the Kongens Nytorv and Frederiksberg stations, as well as to the regional rail network.
Operating 24/7 with fully automated, driverless trains, Cityringen provides a lasting improvement to local mobility by reducing travel times and offering a new urban transport experience.
