Singapore Metro

Construction of the Circle Line

Transport and Infrastructure

About the project

The Singapore Circle Line, one of Asia's most iconic automated metro projects, relied on the Mezzoteam platform. Spanning 35 km and featuring 33 stations, this circular line was built in a highly dense urban environment, with work carried out almost entirely underground under complex geotechnical conditions.

‍

This project required close coordination between the teams in charge of engineering, track, power supply, signaling, and train supervision systems.

‍

Today, the Circle Line plays a vital role in Singapore's transport network by improving connections between major metro lines and reducing travel times across the city.
