Construction of a new building

Building
For the creation of the Nice Institute of Physics (INPHYNI), born from the merger of two Université Côte d'Azur research laboratories, the project teams chose Mezzoteam to centralize communications, secure documents, and coordinate all stakeholders throughout the construction of the new facility.
Located in the heart of the Nice Méridia urban development zone, this next-generation building brings together the institute's research activities in an environment designed to foster scientific innovation. The project stands out for its hybrid architecture, combining a concrete structure for technical areas and laboratories with a timber structure for the levels dedicated to offices and collaborative spaces.
With nearly 60 physics laboratories, research areas, administrative offices, meeting rooms, a showroom, and underground parking, this operation required rigorous document management and seamless collaboration between the project owner, the project management team, and the contractors.
Thanks to Mezzoteam, project stakeholders benefited from a single collaborative workspace to share documents, track approvals, ensure the traceability of communications, and always have access to reliable, up-to-date information. This organization helped streamline team coordination and secure the management of a highly technical scientific project.
