Construction of an inpatient building and restructuring of Building B

Health
As part of its extensive modernization program, the Périgueux Hospital Center launched a second phase of infrastructure transformation, representing an investment of €48.7 million. Led by architect Michel Beauvais and his firm, this project focused on creating a new medicine and surgery wing, as well as restructuring spaces dedicated to outpatient care.
The project involved the construction of a new building with 180 full-inpatient beds, designed to improve patient reception, optimize care pathways, and meet modern hospital standards. This new infrastructure was complemented by the renovation and reorganization of facilities for outpatient activities, thereby enhancing the facility's operational efficiency.
Delivered between 2020 and 2021, this program marks a major milestone in the modernization of the Périgueux Hospital Center, providing more efficient care spaces adapted to evolving medical practices and the growing needs of the region.
