Construction of a new automotive plant in Morocco

Industry and Energy
As part of the development of its first industrial complex in Morocco, the PSA Group deployed the Mezzoteam platform to support the construction of its production facility in Kenitra.
This strategic project, launched in 2016 and inaugurated in June 2019, enabled the French automotive manufacturer to establish a new plant dedicated to the production of Peugeot vehicles and associated engines for international markets. The plant is now one of the Group’s major industrial sites in Africa.
To facilitate coordination between the many stakeholders involved in the project — client, project management team, construction companies and industrial partners — Mezzoteam centralised all communications, documents and validation processes within a single collaborative environment.
Thanks to the platform, the teams were able to effectively manage design studies and construction works, secure information sharing between the various stakeholders and ensure full traceability of decisions throughout the construction process.
Commissioned in 2019, the Kenitra site has an annual production capacity of 100,000 vehicles and has supported the Group’s industrial growth in Morocco, creating several thousand jobs in the region.
