Sorting center in Romainville

Reconstruction of the multi-stream facility and a selective collection sorting center

Industry and Energy

About the project

As the first large-capacity multi-stream facility built in France, the Romainville sorting center stands as a major benchmark in waste recovery.

‍

The project involved the complete reconstruction of the site and the commissioning of a facility combining a sorting and anaerobic digestion plant for the organic fraction of household waste, a selective collection sorting center, and a pre-sorting unit for bulky items.

‍

Designed according to High Environmental Quality (HQE) standards, the complex is notable for its architectural and landscape integration, proving that industrial infrastructure can combine performance and innovation with harmonious environmental blending.
