Water treatment plant in Amilly

The Mezzoteam platform supported the construction of the La Chise drinking water plant in Amilly, Loiret, a key project designed to provide long-term security for the drinking water supply of the Montargis urban area.

Located near the Briare Canal in the heart of the Gâtinais region, this new facility was designed to address the growing challenges of water resource conservation and quality improvement. The project involved numerous stakeholders throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases, making collaboration and information sharing key factors for success.

To support this operation, Mezzoteam was used to centralize technical documents, ensure the traceability of communications, and streamline approval processes between the various project stakeholders. The platform provided a unified work environment that fostered effective coordination across the entire project.

The plant was built on one of the main catchment areas in the eastern part of the department to treat water from the La Chise boreholes. It incorporates several complementary treatment processes: biological nitrate removal, hydrocarbon oxygenation, activated carbon filtration for pesticides, and final disinfection. This combination of technologies produces water that meets the highest health standards while minimizing the environmental impact of the treatment process.

Beyond qualitative performance, the project also aimed to significantly increase the region's drinking water production capacity. The facility is now capable of treating water volumes well above the average needs of the municipalities of Montargis, Amilly, Châlette-sur-Loing, Villemandeur, and Pannes, thereby ensuring a secure supply for years to come.

Operated by Suez on behalf of the local authorities, this infrastructure is now a strategic asset for sustainable water management. It demonstrates Mezzoteam's ability to support complex environmental infrastructure projects by facilitating collaboration between project owners, operators, engineering firms, and construction companies.
