EMOC, the cultural public works contracting authority, is the delegated site supervisor for the “Grand Versailles project”, as part of a major renovation programme started in 2003. This project covers the entire Chateau de Versailles estate, palace and gardens.
Among the buildings undergoing restoration, the Grand Commun, located at the eastern end of the Aile du Midi, right next to the main Château, covers a surface area of 23,000m², some 14,000m² of which are being renovated.
