Designed primarily to accommodate European Parliament services, the building meets all international tertiary construction standards. The Osmose project, unanimously selected by the stakeholders, was designed by the architect David Roulin from the agency Art & Build Architect, which worked in close conjunction with Oslo Architects. The Strasbourg-based firm oversaw construction of the neighbouring Adidas building.

Osmose will stand directly opposite the European Parliament building, without attempting to overshadow it.
“It was custom-designed with a degree of restraint and a sense of perspective, meaning there is still a clear view of the European Parliament building”, commented Joslin Lutz, from Oslo Architects. The development features roof terraces covered with plants, trees and shrubs and includes various walkways through its large park area dedicated to soft mobility. The initial phase, covering 15,000m² with eight floors, is set to be delivered by the second quarter of 2021. The second phase, over 25,000m² and 14 floors, will follow.
