Manage forecast lists

Did you know that managing forecast lists is one of the challenges of document management on construction projects?
They are often managed in Excel files external to the document repository. As a result, this requires manual reconciliation with the information in the EDM.
With Mezzoteam, you can automate the management of forecast lists thanks to the document import functions:
- Each document producer creates a list on the basis of an Excel template provided by Mezzoteam: quality gain because the metadata are present in the template and guide the coding of the documents.
- Once validated, these lists are automatically imported into Mezzoteam: saving time for each company, which does not need to enter the metadata of its documents in the EDM.
- Subsequently, it is possible to update the forecasted release dates by importing changes. This results in a gain in flexibility as the document delivery schedule can be updated with a few clicks.
- Combined with the documents’ status, the provisional date makes it possible to monitor the document production of each actor as closely as possible and to prevent delays.
